It's no secret the inspiration for the birds came from some of the most beautiful real birds of paradise. Luckly there are a lot of great documentaries portraing these birds and it's truly fascinating to follow their mating dance.

When designing Kenny we spend a lot of time trying to keep it simple but still recognisable. The hair was tricky and not easy to simplify.
